Герб и флаг Пласта утверждены в канун 60-летия города, 8 сентября 2000 года.

На флаге на голубом фоне изображена золотая жар-птица. Она символизирует основную отрасль хозяйства города - золотодобычу. Отношение длины полотнища к его ширине равно 3:2.
